I have A LOT of different interests and hobbies. I like the variety I get from learning something new. I consider myself an artist of sorts. I have been working on life size models of sci-fi stuff this is a new obsession of mine. I am learning to play the violin it is a real challenge I do not have previous experience with other instruments to build off of. I have learned patience I practiced on a single card move for roughly six months I am still working on the remainder of whole presentation. I like going to movies finding new places to go hiking I have a favorite spot in Francis Marion that is an old Indian ceremonial site that dates back thousands of years. Our area has the last one open to the public. As cool as it is; this kind of stuff is relatively unknown. Love to travel and want to do more of it. I like to go to little towns like Eutawville and find an antique store. Finding local haunts. Stroll the lake looking for arrowheads. Socializing and enjoying intimate times like going the movies, romantic meals, cuddling up and watching DVDs. I enjoy meditation and believe in the power of positive thought. I really do not think of it as so much as a spiritual thing but others have taken it to mean that. Either way the results are the same. While I do not practice any religion myself I do believe there may be something greater to life like a spirit but I also do not think of someone as stupid for having thoughts on the subject. While I do maintain an open mind about most subjects, fanatics of religion and politics do drive me a little crazy. I grew up in this environment so maybe I am just burned out of all that.

I drive a motorcycle... this is my transportation. It is a classic looking chopper I have rain gear and cold weather cloths. I do not dress like a Harley dude with the leather and stuff. But I do enjoy driving it.

I did six years active duty in the Air Force, I was an aircraft maintenance specialist for three years and then was aircrew for the last three - I got to fly all over the world, it was fun but at the end of my term I got out. Since then I've settled into working for a local law enforcement agency in the communications section where I'm a day shift supervisor, and I've been there for over four years now.

I like to visit parks, the beach, wander around downtown. I started to dabble in photography so I like to go places where there are some beautiful scenes (and Charleston is full of them). I like to spend time with friends doing things as simple as sitting around the house watching TV or going out on the town until the wee hours.

As far as the sort of guy I'm looking for - first and foremost: Honesty. If there is honesty then trust and everything else will fall into place effortlessly. So I was sitting out on the boat fishing with my uncle dayne and listening to the distant thunder and soaking in the sun when it came to me that I have no clue what i really wanted to find in someone. so I pondered the thought for a few days and decided on what i want. I'm finishing up my BS at CSU right now, enjoying the freedom to grow my hair out. The Airforce was a solid experience for life, though in reflection I was already ready. All I lacked before was the confidence to know it. I absolutely love to dine out, and Charleston is the perfect place for it. The only thing we seem to lack here is some good italian, though Carrabbas fits well enough for me. If you haven't tried the Continental Corner for some greek in Summerville, you need to. Sweetwater Cafe, oooh. Poogan's Porch, Fleet Landing, Grill 225, PaPaZuZu's (is it still there? I haven't been to King St since '06 when I was at CofC. Tragedy), Jestine's Kitchen, and Middleton Place are my favorites so far.

I'm really not into clubs/bars/dancing, but I can at least tolerate them if they mix strong drinks, heh. I'd rather wander around in a bookstore, walk downtown, or just stay home reading/watching movies/playing games. I do feel the need to go somewhere everyday, and I love just driving around. Getting lost doesn't bother me at all. I guess I should say I'm not into drugs, rarely drink, and can't stand smoking. Someone else smoking or drinking isn't a dealbreaker, but it's no perk.

I love movies. I just don't get tired of watching them. Without some self-control I'd probably go on three movie marathons everyday. Thankfully there just aren't enough movies to do that.

On Religion. Yes, I'm an atheist. No, I'm not going to harass people about being religious. I actually think that if people lived by the bible (or torah, or anything...) we'd be in a much better place. I have no problem at all with people believing whatever they want, but I do have a problem with hypocrite. Don't be one.

I am currently married, but separated. I have a daughter that is 2 yrs, her name is Rose.(She is with her Mother). I love my daughter very much. More that anybody. Ok, so here's how this happened. I was told I needed to be more open to meeting random ppl so here I am making this account hoping it will turn out well. I'm not against making friends I'm just very particular and it takes time for me to actually trust someone and call them a friend. Especially meeting them online. I love to play billiards, every time I go home to NC I must go to the pool hall with my best friend its kind of a tradition now. I can easily be entertained by going to Wal-Mart to admire the things I want to get. My all time favorite movie is The Boondock Saints. I am usually honest, and when it comes to finding a date I am not afraid to inform you of my child or what other people might call my â??baggageâ??. I donâ??t like keeping secrets from someone who Iâ??m in a relationship with. Communication is key to everything. The biggest thing that turns me off on a first date is non emergency cell phone usage. If you cant have the common curtesy to put your phone down when were trying to get to know each other then dont bother wasting my time on a date. Just let me know if you are interested.

I'm loud and annoying. I talk to much, and much to fast. I have opinions and they are not always very smart ones. I'm loyal to a fault. Once you've got me on your side I'll be there through hell and high water. I don't always make the smartest choices but I learn from my mistakes and I grow. It takes a bit to get into my trust and I'm forgiving for my friends but once you cross that line, that's it. I can hold a grudge for the rest of my life. I'm an intellectual. I read none stop (just bought a Kindle). I love to discuss all the little nuances of politics, religions, philosophy, et al. I'm a "hardass" who doesn't want to have to be. I can walk the walk to follow up my big mouth but I dream of having someone who is willing to make me feel safe. After a while, having to have your guard up all the time gets exhausting.

I enjoy music. Every style has a place in my music library. I love the arts and dream of walking through the Louvre with all the time in the world to contemplate the feelings each stroke invokes. i am an aquaholic. love anything to do with water. fish avidly in fresh, salt, inshore, offshore, and all the other activities as well(shrimp,crab,oysters,etc.).try to do it all(fish,hunt,golf), but not fanatical about anything.prefer casual settings such as cookouts,oyster roast,barbeques,etc., but am not out of place at formal occasions. like to dance. like to take long weekend or mini vacations,love cruises,the Keys,anywhere carribean,but also the mountains at times.love all animals, but prefer that someone else own the horses.not hard to please. know the value of compromise(and expect the same). like college sports and have become a fan of hockey. i have two adult daughters and five grands, one kitty,and one lab. if interested in more info just give me a shout.

I'm a very active person who is involved in my community in many ways: Friends of the Library, usually go to county council and school board meetings, etc. I love to go out with friends to theater or movies, play cards, kayak, or walk on nature trails. My crockpot usually has something in it, but my oven is cold... what does that mean, I wonder? I hesitated to put "attractive" as one of my attributes above, but I do know that people like my face!
